National Art & Design Saturday Club – update February 2018

This week is #MyArtsAward week! It’s a celebration of Arts Award, from the young artists to the advisors. As part of this, our National Saturday Art & Design Club member Scarlett was interviewed by Festival Bridge about her Arts Award journey with us. Scarlett gives a really open and honest account of her creative challenges and achievements. Click here to read the interview.

Plus another of our Club members, Olivia, was interviewed by Arts Award’s Voice Magazine. She talks through her fantastic sketchbook which documents all the artistic activities she’s got up to over a year of sessions with us. This interview was conducted by Tom Inniss, Editor from Voice Magazine at our Bronze Arts Award presentation day. Read the full interview here.

Our National Saturday Art & Design Club is led by Great Yarmouth-based youth arts network Creative Collisions, and delivered in partnership with Time & Tide Museum and East Coast College Great Yarmouth. We run Saturday sessions where teenagers get to work with artists, visit galleries, take part in hands-on arts projects and exhibit their work in shows, including in London.

If know a young person aged 13-16 who’d like to get involved, contact Tricia Hall via email: or call: 01493 743946.
